Tim Tebow: A Clutch QB?
In Denver there are alot of hype surrounding their young ball club. Second year Quarter Back, Tim Tebow has won more than half of the Broncos games. While last year they lost more than half of their games. But, the difference is not only defense's play, or the new coaching staff. But their new "signal caller" Tim Tebow. But a different QB cant mean that much to a team right. Well , not only is Tebow a like able guy and the new face of the franchise. But he WINS. Of course every athlete is paid to win, but the Broncos are not a winning team. The cool thing about their wins is that more than half of them have come from fourth quarter comebacks, or in overtime. Its alot of pressure to lead a team from behind. That seperates the elite QB's and the average ones. Are you good in the clutch? Thats basically the business question for the QB job. And while Tim throws about 12 passes a game (and on average others throw 20-40 passes) he wins when it matters. As I said Tebow wins in the clutch. But not by leading the aerial attack. He runs for yards and touchdowns. He has a very different style of play but is he really a (clutch performer). Elite QB's win with the game on the line and Tim has been doing that. But is he really an "elite" player?
